To celebrate Eucharist well each weekend, we need the participation of many parishioners to serve the community in various liturgical ministries.

Sacristans:  The Sacristan prepares the altar, sacred vessels, and linens used for Mass, and coordinates the ministers at each Mass.

Mass Servers:  In fifth grade, Holy Family Parish children are given the opportunity to be trained as a Mass server. Students are welcome to continue serving into adulthood. Adult servers are also welcome. If you are interested, please contact Fr. Timothy.

Lectors & Commentators:  Women and men who proclaim the Word of God at Masses. Training is provided.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion:  Also known as Eucharistic Ministers. Men and women who help distribute the Eucharist at Mass. Each distributor is commissioned by the Bishop. Training is provided.

Ministers of Communion for the Sick and Homebound:  Go directly from the Sunday Eucharist (Mass) to the sick and homebound of our communities. They carry Holy Communion as well as the Parish’s care and concern to the sick and to persons otherwise confined. Their mission is to extend the Sunday Eucharist and the Parish community’s embrace to those unable to be physically present at Mass. If you would like to learn more about this ministry, or if you know of a homebound or sick parishioner who is not receiving communion, please contact the Parish Office.

Ushers:  Men and women who help to seat the congregation, gather the offering, assist with order at communion, and hand out Bulletins after Mass. The current usher schedule is available here.

Greeters:  Men and women who welcome people into our church at weekend Masses, and who assist visitors with any questions they may have.
